KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
| KEY ACTIVITIES: 1. Design & Drafting -Prepare 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar software. -Develop mechanical layouts, assembly drawings, fabrication drawings, and part details. -Modify and update designs based on project requirements or feedback from site/client. 2. Maintenance -Plan, schedule, and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment and machinery. -Diagnose faults and perform repairs on mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems. -Maintain proper documentation of maintenance logs, breakdown reports, and inventory records. -Coordinate with production and other departments to minimize equipment downtime. -Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations. -Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment. -Analyze recurring faults and implement root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions. -Monitor utility systems (e.g., HVAC, compressed air, water supply, etc.) and ensure their optimal functioning. -Manage and control spare parts inventory and liaise with suppliers/vendors as needed. -Train and guide maintenance technicians and junior staff. 3.Documentation & Standards -Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, codes, and internal guidelines. -Maintain revision history, drawing documentation, and technical records. -Assist in preparing Bill of Materials (BOM), specification sheets, and manuals. 4.Coordination & Communication -Coordinate with other departments (electrical, civil, etc.) for design integration. -Coordinate with clients, consultants, or vendors for design approvals or clarifications. -Participate in design reviews and resolve issues raised during execution. |
| EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS: | Qualification (Must/Desirable): Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering Experience: 1–3 years of relevant experience in mechanical design and Maintenance |
| SPECIAL SKILLS: | -Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D), SolidWorks, or similar CAD tools. -Good understanding of mechanical components, fabrication processes, and GD&T. -Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly procedures. -Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. -Attention to detail and quality in design. |
