| MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB: | To deliver production as per planning and manage man, machine & material on the shop floor. |
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
| KEY RESULTS: -Production should be completed as planned -SOP / Work Instructions adherence -5S Adherence -Training of workforce -Quality should be maintained -Wastage Reduction -Resource Utilization -Worker / Contractor Satisfaction KEY ACTIVITIES: -To ensure full kitting 2 days in advance before production. -To hand over next day’s production plans to all supervisors by 12:30 PM. -To resolve shop floor issues and escalate any unresolved issues related to man, material, and machinery to the production manager immediately on a real-time basis. -To take daily production data from Supervisors, verify data and get it updated in ERP, DPR before 11AM on next day. -To ensure production is completed daily as planned. -To ensure housekeeping on shop floor as per 5S guidelines. -To ensure all SOP and work instructions are displayed, followed and regularly updated. -To Check Winding chart made by Supervisor and get it approved from production manager. -To ensure all drawings, OC’s, production orders are checked and filed properly. -To coordinate with all departments for material, manpower. -To give material shortage information as per Shortage FMS to stores / purchase department well in advance. -To ensure all safety guidelines are followed on shop floor in all departments. -To ensure zero wastage of man, material on shop floor. -To ensure minimum rework on shop floor. -To prepare and give manpower requirements to Production Manager. -To prepare shift plan and get approval from Production Manager. -To impart training to workers and supervisors as per requirement. -To ensure repairing of old transformer is done on time. -To record in-process NC’s on daily basis and perform corrections and corrective actions. |
| EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS: | Qualification (Must/Desirable): B.Tech/B.E in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering. Experience: Min. 1-3 years’ experience in production management. |
